I was a city from kid from Chicago, who spent the summers on my grandparents farm in Alabama. I can remember my grandparents were always busy, tending to the farm. My folks were always resourceful and self sufficient. Most vividly, I remember the science of the soap. My grandmother would throw a hunk lye of soap into the water pot while boiling the laundry and the whites would come out blazing. I asked where she got her special soap from and to my fascination she replied,

"We make it!".

Years later, my curiosity of soap making turned into a business, Skyn Serenity. Whether they knew it or not, my grandparents planted the seeds of craftsmanship into me. My formulas are cultivated from natural resources and each product I create is an all natural work of art.
